Abu Dhabi\u2019s Aldar Properties and Dubai\u2019s Emaar Properties will work together on major projects. The agreement was signed by Aldar and Emaar CEOs Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak and Mohamed Alabbar, <em>Emirates News Agency (WAM)<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_112832\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-112832\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-112832\" src=\"https:\/\/escaesco.com.br\/lab\/anba\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/burjkhalifa-300x203.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/burjkhalifa-300x203.jpg 300w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/burjkhalifa-768x520.jpg 768w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/burjkhalifa.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-112832\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Burj Khalifa, Dubai: an iconic project by Emaar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWithout a doubt, the joint venture will expand the country\u2019s portfolio of iconic real estate projects and there is no limit to the development possibilities created by the partnership between Aldar and Emaar,\u201d <em>WAM<\/em> quoted Mubarak as saying. \u201cThis joint venture is a strong testament to the spirit of partnerships that have contributed to establishing the UAE as a global hub for business and leisure,\u201d Alabbar said.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership will initially focus on two projects, one in each emirate. The Abu Dhabi Project will be set in Saadiyat Island, where o Louvre Abu Dhabi is. Dubbed Saadiyat Grove, it will comprise 2,000 residential units, two hotels, 400 serviced apartments and 130,000 sqm worth of \u2018experiential lifestyle\u2019 and retail space. Its launch is expected to take place in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The Dubai project, Emaar Beachfront, is an island featuring a wide variety of leisure, food and retail options, plus 7,000 residential units.
