Of this total, around US$ 17.5 million will be invested by the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), according to information supplied on Monday (24) by a bank spokesperson.<\/P><br \/> <P>Investment will be made in the southeastern state of S\u00e3o Paulo, and in midwestern Goi\u00e1s and Mato Grosso do Sul. According to information supplied by the BNDES, with this, Bertin intends to increase semi-finished leather production by almost 57%, rising from the current 4.2 million square metres per year to 6.6 million.
