The growth rate was the strongest since 9.8% in April 2013. Automobile, trailers and car bodies drove the pickup in output. <\/p>\n<p>The information is from the monthly industry output survey <em>Pesquisa Industrial Mensal &ndash; Produ&ccedil;&atilde;o F&iacute;sica Brasil<\/em> released this Tuesday (5) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). In October from September, production was up 0.2%, in the second back-to-back increase as per seasonally adjusted figures. <\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date through October, industry output was up 1.9% from a year ago.
