This is the first positive yearly result since 2013, when the industry had a growth of 2.1%, and the highest since 2010, in which the industry registered a record growth of 10.2%.<\/p>\n<p>The data is part of the Monthly Survey of Industry &ndash; Physical Production (PIM-PF) released this Thursday (1) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistic (IBGE), which also presented the monthly result of 2017&rsquo;s last month: the country&rsquo;s industrial park ended December with a growth of 2.8% over November, in the seasonally adjusted data.
