The circuit includes farms that produce fruit in the cities of Indaiatuba, Itatiba, Itupeva, Jarin\u00fa, Jundia\u00ed, Louveira, Morungaba, Valinhos, and Vinhedo, all an average of 100 kilometres away from the city of S\u00e3o Paulo, the largest in Brazil.<\/P><br \/> <P>The idea is that tourists should visit grape, strawberry, peach, guava, plum, persimmon, acerola (a fruit rich in vitamin C), and fig, cultivated in the region. The circuit was has been presented to travel agencies. This is the second tourist circuit that the government of the southeastern state of S\u00e3o Paulo has recognized. The first was the Rout of the Bandeirantes (explorers from S\u00e3o Paulo State who followed river paths), on a stretch of the Tiet\u00ea River.
