It will include seven meetings on Saturdays, beginning on March 24 and ending on June 23. The classes will be taught by researcher Cintia Gama at Casa Museu Ema Klabin, in Jardim Europa district, city of S&atilde;o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p><<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/imagens\/cod_717248.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Professor Cintia Gama told ANBA that the course will offer basic concepts on the meaning of hieroglyphics and will study Egyptian texts, from the Book of the Dead and funerary texts to texts in the pyramids, offering formulas and historic and ritualistic texts of Ancient Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These texts cover various themes, from epic tales, romance and adventure, to Egyptians&rsquo; viewpoint on day-to-day life in the world of the dead, the transformation of the sun and stars. In the historic texts we also see the great actions by the pharaohs written by themselves, what they had done, father-to-son teachings, up to how to behave in society,&rdquo; said Gama. <\/p>\n<p>According to her, the course is for everyone interested in knowing a little more about the Egyptian culture. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s great to offer another aspect of this culture aside pyramids and pharaohs; the course will show that Egyptians from five thousand years ago have much to do with our current culture and literature, with adventure stories, princes and princesses, advices and magic,&rdquo; he said. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Resume<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/imagens\/cod_717249.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cintia Gama is a doctor of Ancient Egyptian Religion from Sorbonne (EPHE &ndash; &Eacute;cole Pratique des Hautes &Eacute;tudes).
