Club Mount Lebanon, in state capital Goi\u00e2nia, promoted an event named &quot;Arabs.&quot; The exhibition, which took place on August 25, included music presentations, book exhibitions, and Arab objects, as well as belly dancing. Around 7% of the state population is of immigrants or descendants of immigrants from the Arab countries.<\/P><br \/> <P>The event is part of a program with the objective of announcing different influences in the state culture. Similar events included the Indian, Afro, and Italian cultures. The &quot;Arabs&quot; exhibition was promoted by the Goi\u00e1s state Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) together with Mount Lebanon Club, the state government, a group of private companies, and the Goi\u00e2nia city hall.
