Market forecasts for the year-end surplus are now at US$32 billion.<\/P><br \/> <P>Exports this year, January to September, reached US$70.278 billion, with imports at US$45.157 billion.<\/P><br \/> <P>And for the last 12 months, October 2003 to September 2004, the surplus reached US$32.172 billion, also a new record (compared to US$23.060 billion for the 12-month period ending on September 30, 2003).<\/P><br \/> <P>As for the month of September 2004, it was the best ever, with a surplus of US$3.172 billion.
