Morocco was also a finalist for the accolade.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_157625\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-157625\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/gafi2.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-157625 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/gafi2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/gafi2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/gafi2-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/gafi2-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-157625\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Projects in Egypt were on display in more than one stand<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>GAFI CEO Mona Zobaa said the organization was picked due to a healthcare project rolled out in Egypt with Saudi Arabian capital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have also been appointed general managers of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) in the region,\u201d Zobaa told ANBA. Egypt played a prominent role in the AIM. Its appeal to investors was discussed, and it had stands in the trade show concurrent with the conference.<\/p>\n<p>Following the so-called Arab Spring, in 2011, Egypt struggled with weak investment inflows and a dearth of US dollars in the domestic\u00a0market, until it began to put in place economic and foreign exchange reforms in late 2016.
