In volume, the country exported 48,510 tons to the Arabs, an increase of 59% in the same comparison, according to data from the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC) compiled by the <strong>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Egypt was the highlight, with purchases worth USD 138.58 million, a surge of 193% over 2017\u2019s Q1. The second major destination was Saudi Arabia, with USD 32.61 million. However, revenues generated by exports to the country dropped 43.7% in comparison to last year\u2019s Q1.<\/p>\n<p>In third place comes the United Arab Emirates, which imported USD 22.52 million worth of beef, up 5% in the same comparison.
