S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Brazilian entrepreneur and fashion designer Martha Medeiros travelled to Morocco with a group of friends and customers of her brand to visit Casablanca and Marrakech from April 12 to 18, and, last Sunday (15), she held a fashion show in the latter, at La Mamounia hotel, where she presented her collection Morocco, inspired by the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe creative impulse for the new collection came from an investigation on loose-fitting designs that, at the same time, bring women to luxury and to the divine,\u201d said the fashion designer in an interview to ANBA via email. Medeiros chose pieces from the Moroccan universe for the collection, such as caftans, capes and shawls, with fluid and comfortable pieces.<\/p>\n

For Medeiros, the trip\u2019s destination choice was a convergence between luxury and fashion experiences, awakening unique sensations. \u201cIt\u2019s much more than only a trip, it\u2019s a shared experience between friends and fashion lovers, always drawing from the mood<\/em> and lifestyle<\/em> of Yves Saint Laurent at the end of the beloved 1960s in his house in Morocco,\u201d she explained, referring to the humor and lifestyle of the French fashion designer, who lived in the country.<\/p>\n

The trip and the fashion show with Martha Medeiros\u2019 collection were organized by the Morocco Imperial Tour<\/a>, owned by Brazilians Lilian and Hadi Akkouh.<\/p>\n
