In the third week of March, the surplus registered was of US$ 683 million, due to shipments of US$ 2.042 billion and external purchases of US$ 1.36 billion. The information was disclosed yesterday (21) by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.<\/P><br \/> <P>For the month, the value of exports reached US$ 5.815 billion, of imports US$ 3.694 billion and the surplus resulted in US$ 2,121 billion.
