Challenge 2018<\/em><\/a>, which aims to award projects that would help with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations (UN) end this Monday (23). The official deadline is 11:55 pm, Bras\u00edlia time, and the winners will get to travel to Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>The registered projects must focus on three of the SDGs: Zero Hunger and Sustainable Agriculture, Quality Education and Gender Equality. The United Nations have set 17 goals to transform the world into a more sustainable place, with signatory countries working to reach them until 2030.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Do it! Challenge<\/em> is a partnership between Eureca and Aiesec Brasil, organizations that seek to bring together young leadership to try to bring about changes to the world. The organization will pick a winner for each of the three sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n<p>The winners will travel to Egypt to take part in the AIESEC International Congress in July and will present their works at the Youth Speak Forum, in December, in Brazil. The two events focus on youth leadership. Plus, all the finalists \u2013 three for each SDGs \u2013 will have the support of an acceleration program to implement their ideas.<\/p>\n<p>The global goals set by the UN aim to bring people, governments and companies together to create a more healthy and sustainable world, balancing out the three development dimensions: economic, social and environmental.<\/p>\n<p>AIESEC International and the UN conducted a survey and found out the three SDGs that Brazilian youth most identify with. The <em>Zero Hunger<\/em> and <em>Sustainable Agriculture<\/em> seek solutions to end hunger and achieve food security, the improvement of nutrition and the promotion of sustainable agriculture. <em>Quality Education<\/em> seeks to ensure an inclusive, fair and quality education, and promote learning opportunities throughout life to everyone. And <em>Gender Equality<\/em> aims to reach equality and empower all women and girls.<\/p>\n<p>For the second consecutive year, the <em>Do it! Challenge<\/em> aims to find entrepreneurial youth leadership with the willingness and potential to make a difference, offering solutions to contribute with the SDGs;<\/p>\n<p>To take part, students need to be enrolled in a college course and take the online challenges available in the platform.
