One of the premier industry events in the world and South America\u2019s biggest, it will welcome 19 companies from five different Arab countries: Egypt, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Tunisia. Thirteen companies are from Egypt, four are from the UAE, and one each is from Sudan and Tunisia. Its 2017 edition welcomed over 70,000 people, featuring over 700 exhibitors over 35,000 sqm fairgrounds, with 560 visiting companies from 61 countries. Deals amounted to BRL 7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> is responsible for the event\u2019s Arab pavilion for the fifth year straight. Arab Chamber president Rubens Hannun said \u201cthe Chamber\u2019s mission is to promote Arab-Brazilian trade.
