Year-to-date through April 2018, exports climbed 7.5% year-on-year to 253,359 units shipped.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicle, farm implement and road machinery exports fetched USD 1.68 billion in April, up 36.8%, Anfavea said. Year-to-date revenue reached USD 5.77 billion, up 26.1% from a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>Domestic sales came out to 762,880 vehicles through April, up 21.3%. In April alone, sales were up 38.5% to 217,300 units.<\/p>\n<p>Anfavea chairman Antonio Megale said this was \u201cthe best April since 2015, and the best month since December 2015, which means numbers are slowly coming around.\u201d He also said \u201cWe see that year-to-date, we had 763,000 units [sold], but are yet to match the average from the last ten years, which is 951,000 units.
