Marina Sarruf*<\/STRONG><\/P> S\u00e3o Paulo – Company Travel Comfort Amenities, a maker of personal hygiene products for hotels, should ship two containers to Lebanon next month. The industry received an order from a local distributor while participating in Horeca, a fair of products and services turned to the hotel sector, which ended last Friday (24) in Beirut, the capital of the Arab country.<\/P> The fair generated over 70 contacts for Travel Comfort Amenities, which participating in an international event for the first time. According to the company directors, Aik Eskinazi and Paulo Palhares, who participated in the fair, Horeca was very positive. The shipping of two containers, representing 32 tonnes of shampoo, cream and soap, is in negotiation between the company and a Lebanese distributor.<\/P> Other companies, like the Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, InterContinental and Hilton, also had an opportunity to learn about the products made by Travel Comfort Amenities, exhibited at the Brazilian stand, organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB).<\/P> According to the operations coordinator of the CCAB, Rodrigo Solano, who participated in the fair, Arab businessmen demonstrated very much interest in Brazilian products, mainly in those that contain typically Brazilian essences, like passion fruit, Brazilian cherry, pineapple and Brazil nuts. "These fragrances will soon be scenting the hotels of the Middle East," he said.<\/P> "The connection of products and elements that may be easily identified as Brazilian may constitute an important differential to exporters," stated Solano.<\/P> Plate of participation<\/STRONG><\/P> The CCAB, together with other international participates from Cyprus, Germany, Hong Kong, Jordan, Poland, Syria and Tunisia, received a plate in recognition of participation in the Horeca. The plate was delivered by the general director of the Ministry of Economy and Trade of Lebanon, Fadi Makki, who congratulated the CCAB and encouraged participation in the event in years to come.<\/P> This was the 12th edition of the Horeca, considered the greatest hotel sector fair in Lebanon.
