Production was up 1.3%, compared to April, and 5.5%, compared to May 2004.<\/P><br \/> <P>The coordinator of the IBGE monthly industrial sector survey, Isabella Nunes, says &quot;The numbers reflect a positive economic scenario, based on export growth, access to credit and an increase in jobs, along with lower inflation.&quot;<\/P><br \/> <P>May output, compared to April, was led by durable goods, up 3.7%, where cell phones, autos and domestic appliances all had strong performances. Capital goods rose 3.4%.
