The data, taken from the GDP Monitor, was released this Monday (21) by Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Getulio Vargas (FGV).<\/p>\n<p>The 0.9% expansion, however, was the lowest since 2017\u2019s Q2 (0.4%), since in Q3 of that year the expansion reached 1.4% and, in Q4, 2.1%. According to FGV, the GDP in Q1 expanded 0.3% over the previous quarter. Year-over-year, the GDP has expanded 1.2%. In comparison to March 2017, the GDP declined 0.4% in March of this year.<\/p>\n<p>In the comparison of this year\u2019s Q1 with the same period of last year, industry expanded 1.8%, with services growing 1.3%.
