S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Vitoria Stone Fair\/Marmomac Latin America, the decorative stone, architecture and building expo, will have Arab exhibitors and visitors. The expo will begin on Thursday (7) at exhibition center Carapina Centro de Eventos, in Serra, Esp\u00edrito Santo, featuring 300 exhibitors from Brazil and 15 other countries.<\/p>\n
The Arab exhibitor is Modern Marble, hailing from Cairo, Egypt.\u00a0It\u00a0sells marble and granite in Egypt and elsewhere, according to its website. Modern Marble will be at stand 143 A, Pavilion 2. This is the company \u2019s first time at the fair.<\/p>\n
Visitors from three other Arab countries \u2013 the UAE, Qatar and Lebanon \u2013 will also attend. They were invited under the expo\u2019s Buyers Club program as part of a group of 100 importers from 18 different countries. Besides attending the trade show, they will visit marble and granite \u2019 manufacturing facilities in the state of Esp\u00edrito Santo.<\/p>\n
The expo\u2019s press liaisons said that the Buyers Club program brings in well-established, reputed international stone buyers. Interstar Marble Industries LLC will represent the UAE, and Ultimate Stones will represent Lebanon. Qatar will be at the expo by way of its Embassy in Brazil.<\/p>\n
The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> will also be at Vit\u00f3ria Stone Fair. The Arab Chamber\u2019s Sales Advisor, Jo\u00e3o Bianchini, will find out what’s new in stone production in Brazil to share information with Arab market players.<\/p>\n The expo runs until Sunday (10) and will feature stones, machinery, inputs, stone production processes and new technologies.\u00a0It is known for presenting the latest innovations and trends in marble, granite and quartzite and all related natural materials.<\/p>\n The expo also features special exhibitions such as Stone Collection, showcasing trends and innovations, and \u2018Original Design with Brazilian Stones\u2019, focusing on furniture and interior decoration, organized by the Brazilian Dimension Stone Industry Association (Abirochas) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).<\/p>\n Events simultaneous with the expo\u00a0will include the Archathon Vitoria Stone Fair, a creative workshop for architects and designers that will award the best project using ornamental stones.
