The price of the North American currency reversed in part the strong hike registered yesterday when the dollar climbed 2.04% and reached BRL 3.8755. The calm during the day kept the Brazilian Central Bank (BC) of holding new swap contracts auctions, such as the ones registered yesterday that were worth USD 2.4 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The main index of the S\u00e3o Paulo Stock Exchange, Ibovespa, reacted to yesterday\u2019s decline, ending the day (28) climbing 1.64% to 71,766 points. Shares of the large companies followed Bovespa\u2019s hike, ending the trading day going up.
