The information was published this Tuesday (17) by news outlet <em>Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The country\u2019s first formal request to join COMESA was made in January 2016. The bloc gathers 20 African countries, representing a population of 625 million people.
