\u201cThe fair aims to raise awareness and bring closer the students to the refugees\u2019 issues, breaking down stereotypes that they are invading our country or stealing our jobs. Our country is for everyone and the refugees are very welcome,\u201d said Camilla Pereira, an economics student who is part of the organization.<\/p>\n
The organization expects around 200 people to attend the event at the Students Hall at FEA-USP. \u201cWe want to encourage the refugees to attend the fair, since they will be able to make contact to NGOs that can facilitate their integration and hiring in Brazilian companies,\u201d said Pereira. The Refugees Fair was created by a partnership between NGOs Estou Refugiado, \u00c1frica do Cora\u00e7\u00e3o, Abra\u00e7o Cultural e Miss\u00e3o Paz.<\/p>\n
