In July, the indicator was at 100.1 points, the same result of June and May.<\/p>\n<p>The data was shown by the Brazilian Institute of Economics of Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Getulio Vargas (IBRE-FGV). The institute\u2019s assessment is that the worsening of the confidence index is being influenced \u201cby the diminished satisfaction of the corporate sector over the current moment.\u201d Preliminary results show that the Current Situation Index (ISA) could drop 2.4 points in August, going from 99 points in July to 96.6 points this month.<\/p>\n<p>For August\u2019s preliminary survey, FGV interviewed 782 companies between August 1 and 17.
