This was the sixth consecutive positive result after eight straight negative variations in this comparison. The GDP totaled BRL 1.693 trillion (USD 430 billion). The data was shown this Friday (31) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibge.gov.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IBGE<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The data shows that the slight expansion was driven by the services sector, which posted a growth of 0.3%, while industry declined 0.6%. The agriculture sector remained stable.<\/p>\n<p>In comparison to Q2 2017, there was a 1% growth in this year\u2019s Q2, the fifth consecutive positive result in this comparison.
