{"id":200504,"date":"2018-09-06T12:36:54","date_gmt":"2018-09-06T15:36:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=200504"},"modified":"2019-06-30T18:38:53","modified_gmt":"2019-06-30T21:38:53","slug":"uae-issued-532000-business-licenses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/uae-issued-532000-business-licenses\/","title":{"rendered":"UAE issued 532,000 business licenses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The United Arab Emirates issued 532,000 business licenses from January to August of this year, a 9% growth over 2017\u2019s total numbers.<\/p>\n<p>The information was published this Wednesday (05) by the Arab country\u2019s official news outlet, the <em>Emirates News Agency (WAM)<\/em>, based on data relayed by the Ministry of Economy.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>WAM<\/em>, the data shows that business is gaining pace in many UAE economy sectors, despite the global slowdown.<\/p>\n<p>Dubai and Abu Dhabi accounted for 85%, or 453,000, of the licenses issued by the UAE. Dubai had the top spot in licenses issued with 249,000. Both are the most well-known emirates of the country.<\/p>\n<p>The World Bank\u2019s report Ease of Doing Business, from last year, placed the United Arab Emirates at the 21<sup>st<\/sup> position. The country was the top Arab country in the report for the fifth consecutive time.
