Output from wind farms averaged 4,470 megawatts (MW) year-to-date through July, up from 3,793.9 MW a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWind accounted for 7% of all power generated in 2018. Hydraulic sources made up 74.5%, while thermal sources accounted for 18.1%,\u201d the CCEE said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Chamber, 520 wind farms are operating commercially in the country.
