The Brazilian Central Bank\u2019s seasonally-adjusted Economic Activity Index (IBC-Br) was up 0.57% in July from June, the monetary authority reported this Monday (17).<\/p>\n<p>Revised data from the Bank show that June had seen GDP widen by 3.42% over May, while it had weakened by 3.35% in May from April.<\/p>\n<p>Year-on-year in July, GDP was up 2.56%. In the 12 months through July, it shrank by 1.46%. Year-to-date through July, it widened by 1.19%.<\/p>\n<p>The IBC-Br factors in activity levels in industry, trade and services, agriculture and tax revenues.
