The country ran a USD 4.971 billion trade surplus in the month, down 3.9% from a year ago. Average daily exports climbed 7.7% year-on-year and reached USD 19.087 billion in the month.<\/p>\n<p>Average daily imports were up 10.2% year-on-year, with total imports reaching USD 14.116 billion. Brazil\u2019s bilateral trade amounted to USD 33.203 billion, up 8.7% year-on-year as per daily averages.<\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date through September, the country ran a USD 42.648 billion surplus, down 19.9% from a year ago. Exports reached USD 177.991 billion, up 8.1% on average per day from a year ago.
