It was the second straight month-on-month drop for the indicator, which had lost 0.4% in the two months through August. The numbers are from the Monthly Industrial Survey made public this Tuesday (2) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, output was up 3.8% in the three months through August, 2% year-on-year in August, 2.5% year-to-date through August and 3.1% in the 12 months through August.
