As per the Monthly Industrial Survey \u2013 Regional Physical Production, Mato Grosso saw the strongest hike at 3%, followed by Bahia at 2.7% and Pernambuco at 2.6%.<\/p>\n<p>Industry production also grew in Cear\u00e1 (1.5%), Rio Grande do Sul (0.8%), Paran\u00e1 (0.7%), Minas Gerais (0.5%) and Goi\u00e1s (0.2%). Six states saw production go down: Amazonas (-5.3%), Par\u00e1 (-1.1%), Esp\u00edrito Santo (-0.9%), S\u00e3o Paulo (-0.9%), Santa Catarina (-0.7%) and Rio de Janeiro (-0.3%).
