Abraciclo chairman Marcos Fermanian believes the industry is benefiting from growing credit to buyers fueling retail sales.

Abraciclo-affiliated companies lost space in exports as a result of the crisis in Argentina, which takes in 72.4% of exports from Brazil. September saw 3,336 units shipped abroad, down 70.2% from a year ago. In September from August, foreign sales dropped 55.7%.

The organization is sticking to its whole-year forecasts. Output is expected to be up 11%, wholesale sales should climb 10.5% and retail sales are seen going up 7.5%. Exports, on the other hand, are expected to drop by 2.2%.

Translated by Gabriel Pomerancblum

Archive/Agência Brasil

[91
1970,137,376,481,2746,1789,28931
0":"post-202367","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-economy","8":"tag-abraciclo","9":"tag-exportacao","10":"tag-exports","11":"tag-industry","12":"tag-motorcycles","13":"tag-vehicles","14":"tag-veiculos-en-2
Brazil saw 80,690 units made last month, but exports are on their way down.
