The Arab country and the South American bloc are in talks for a free trade agreement.\u00a0<em>MAP<\/em> quoted Derham as saying Morocco is committed to building a fresh economic partnership with the group comprising Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Venezuela is temporarily suspended from the Mercosur, and Bolivia is in the process of joining.<\/p>\n<p>Derham went on to say that Morocco is looking to diversify its partnerships in trade, and that the Mercosur allows access to several South American countries. The bloc sustains association agreements with Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, the Guyana, Peru and Suriname.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s only a matter of time until we reach an equitable, generous Morocco-Mercosur agreement,\u201d Navarro said according to <em>MAP<\/em>. Morocco\u2019s Chamber of Representatives and the Parlasur entered into a memorandum of understanding on Monday (15) to enhance mutual cooperation.
