In September, tourist spending abroad totaled USD 1.189 billion, a 30.7% plunge over September of 2017, the Brazilian Central Bank (BC) reported this Thursday (25).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpending on foreign travel is the lowest since May 2016,\u201d said the deputy head of the BC\u2019s Statistics Department, Renato Baldini.<\/p>\n<p>From January to September, there was also a decline, with spending abroad totaling USD 13.875 billion.
