{"id":203585,"date":"2018-10-30T18:01:21","date_gmt":"2018-10-30T21:01:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=203585"},"modified":"2018-10-31T20:16:02","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T23:16:02","slug":"capital-goods-exports-fell-in-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/capital-goods-exports-fell-in-september\/","title":{"rendered":"Capital goods exports fell in September"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Brazilian exports of capital goods totaled USD 736.6 million in September, a decline of 24.7% over August 2018 and of 9.4% over September of last year, according to data shown this Tuesday (30) by the Brazilian Machinery Builders\u2019 Association (ABIMAQ).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExports of machinery and equipment have shown strong fluctuations in the last few months,\u201d stated the association in a statement. \u201cIn September, after climbing 43.5% in August, exports fell 24.7%,\u201d said the statement.<\/p>\n<p>From January to September, the industry\u2019s foreign sales have reached USD 7.16 billion, up 10.9% in comparison to the same period of 2017. According to ABIMAQ, until August shipments had grown 13.9%.<\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date, only the agricultural machinery and manufacturing industry sectors had sales on decline.
