The growth of Brazilian economy was of 2.3% in comparison to 2004.<\/P><br \/> <P>Livestock and agriculture participated with R$ 145.8 billion (or US$ 65.6 billion), industry with R$ 690.6 billion (US$ 310.8 billion) and the services sector with R$ 985.3 billion (US$ 443.4 billion). The remainder was taxes over products. According to the IBGE, the agriculture and livestock participation dropped from 10.1% in 2004 to 8.4% in 2005. The participation of industry and services, however, increased, to 40% and 57%, respectively.<\/P><br \/> <P>The GDP per capita, which is the division of the GDP by the population living in the country, reached R$ 10,520, which is the equivalent to US$ 4,733.94.
