{"id":205444,"date":"2018-12-05T09:57:55","date_gmt":"2018-12-05T12:57:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=205444"},"modified":"2019-06-30T18:00:43","modified_gmt":"2019-06-30T21:00:43","slug":"more-companies-cleared-to-explore-oil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/more-companies-cleared-to-explore-oil\/","title":{"rendered":"More companies cleared to explore oil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rio de Janeiro \u2013 Brazil\u2019s National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) announced that it has approved registrations from nine companies looking to make bids for permanent exploration and production of oil and gas in the country\u2019s sedimentary basins.<\/p>\n<p>After the decision made public this Tuesday (4), there are now 19 companies registered and accredited to bid in tenders for fields or blocs that were given up on by winning bidders, and ones for which no bids were made in prior tenders.<\/p>\n<p>According to the ANP, the first bidding round will include 884 blocs in 14 sedimentary basins and 14 marginal accumulation areas.
