The 2.66% growth in comparison with last year is the best result since 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The survey considered consultations for credit sales between December 4 and 24 this year, the most lucrative period for retail. Last year, a 2.13% rise was registered. In the previous years, there was a series of falls: -2.29% (2016), -4.16% (2015) and -8.3% (2014).<\/p>\n<p>Brazilians spent an estimated average of BRL 115.9 with Christmas gifts.
