S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Brazilian company O Primo<\/a> imports and exports food products and will be present for the second time at Gulfood, food and beverage fair to occur in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from February 17 to 21. The company will exhibit at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong> pavillion (in the photo, the 2018 pavillion)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

According to O Primo commercial director Augusto Ferraiol, they are joining the fair in order to increase the business volume with the Arab countries where the company already works, while also opening new markets in the region. \u201cWe also intend to showcase the ways our company enables logistical alternatives, improve our negotiations with Arabs, and study the new rules of the countries in the region,\u201d said the director in interview to ANBA.<\/p>\n

The company was founded in 2014 and, according to Ferraiol, works in more than 100 countries in North and Latin America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. In the Arab world, they act in 13 countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Libya, Sudan and Tunisia. The most exported product to these countries is animal protein (beef and poultry) and orange juice. Other exported products are sugar, coffee, clove, a\u00e7a\u00ed, and fresh fruits.<\/p>\n

The most imported products by Brazil from various countries are wines, cheeses, conserves, olive oils, and frozen fish. The company uses sea, road, rail and air transports, and is present in every Brazilian port, specializing in refrigerated transportation.<\/p>\n

Having offices in S\u00e3o Paulo, Porto Alegre, Itaja\u00ed, Ribeir\u00e3o Preto (all in Brazil), and in New York, United States, O Primo shipped 6,500 containers in 2018, and imported 3,000. By air, 15 ton were exported.<\/p>\n
