The companies don\u2019t need to send a representative to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA, acronym in Portuguese) anymore, and starting on Friday (15) may request authorization online.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Ministry of Economy, this measure reduces the time it takes to issue an authorization. The expectation is that the online process will allow a 7-day timeframe from the request to the authorization. The process used to take an average of 40 days.
