{"id":209549,"date":"2019-02-18T15:30:32","date_gmt":"2019-02-18T17:30:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=209549"},"modified":"2019-02-18T17:14:59","modified_gmt":"2019-02-18T19:14:59","slug":"arab-brazilian-chamber-board-meets-with-islamic-entity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/arab-brazilian-chamber-board-meets-with-islamic-entity\/","title":{"rendered":"Arab Brazilian Chamber board meets with Islamic entity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dubai \u2013 Directors of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccab.org.br\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong> visited this Monday the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iedcdubai.ae\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEDC<\/a>) office.<\/p>\n<p>The president of the management council Walid Yazigi, the vice-president of international affairs Osmar Chohfi, the vice-president of foreign trade Ruy Cury, the treasurer Nahid Chicani, and directors William Atui and Mohamad Abdouni Neto, and the head of the Arab Brazilian Chamber international office in Dubai Rafael Solimeo were received by the project advisor Sohail Zubairi, the CEO Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar, and other staff from the entity.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_209537\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-209537\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-209537\" src=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/3-2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/3-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/3-2.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-209537\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Al Awar received the Arab Chamber board<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Al Awar talked with the board about the challenges to standardize halal certifications through the world. \u201cEach product (beef, poultry, cosmetics, clothes, tourism, and others) requires a certain kind of certification and audit, and this costs money for the companies and the countries wishing to certify,\u201d said Al Awar.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the more countries doing the accreditation, the better to reach a standard. \u201cThe Emirates International Accreditation Center has a great infrastructure and is present in more than 30 countries,\u201d he said.
