Flat-rolled steel production, however, decreased by 3.1% with 1.8 million tons, and semi-finished production for sales dropped by 9.2%, reaching 729,000 tons.<\/p>\n<p>The numbers were released this Friday (22) by Brazil Steel Institute. Domestic sales decreased by 3.7% over January 2018, down to 1.4 million tons.
