The announcement was made through Tripoli Special Economic Zone (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsez.gov.lb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TSEZ<\/a>)\u2019s website. The registration deadline is March 18. To register, those interested must access the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsez.gov.lb\/kic\/competition?fbclid=IwAR3L2Ocg5q0oneG6pY7cc8lhEQMP7Pbt4Yi5FQz8eOnt5p2Qpq_ztqV96WM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> and fill the form, in addition to download the documents and follow the instructions in them.<\/p>\n<p>The center will be a business and technology park that would accommodate and foster the entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs in the city of Tripoli.<\/p>\n<p>The approved project should involve the preservation of heritage buildings as well as the design of new structures within the campus, currently listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. \u201cWhile designing the new buildings for the KIC parcel, utmost care should be placed on the relationship between the new buildings and existing buildings designed by Oscar Niemeyer.
