The \u201cWaves of Brazil\u201d concert series is an initiative of the Embassy of Brazil in Kuwait, and has featured the likes of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/o-choro-e-livre-em-abu-dhabi-e-no-kuwait\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reco do Bandolim &amp; Grupo Choro Livre<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/francis-e-olivia-hime-interpretam-classicos-no-kuwait\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Francis &amp; Ol\u00edvia Hime<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Diplomat Cl\u00e1udia Assaf, who\u2019s in charge of culture, press and commercial promotion at the Embassy, the show was a success. \u201cA packed venue and standing ovations,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Gandelman and his group played some compositions of his own and by Brazilian popular music icons like Luiz Bonf\u00e1, Antonio Maria, Carlos Lyra, Geraldo Vandr\u00e9, Edu Lobo, Baden Powell, Tom Jobim, Vin\u00edcius de Morais and others.<\/p>\n<p>The composer also gave interviews to TV and radio stations in Kuwait.
