He highlighted Brazilian coast&#8217; vastitude. Seif talked during a live transmission on social media. \u201cWe have everything it takes to be a world\u2019s leader [in seafood production],\u201d saying that Brazil will follow the example of China, which is one of the world\u2019s largest fish producers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to make Brazil great not only in grains and other proteins but also in seafood production,\u201d said the secretary. \u201cWith all this potential, we have to grow.\u201d According to Seif, biological limits will be respected in order to not compromise either the biomass or the species. Seif said the seafood production may also help the pharmaceutical industry, for example.
