According to figures made public by the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distributors (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fenabrave.org.br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fenabrave<\/a>)\u00a0this Thursday (2), 1,244,151 units were sold year-to-date through April 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The numbers include automobiles, light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses and motorcycles. April saw 339,424 vehicles sold, up 9.08% from April 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Fenabrave chairman Alarico Assump\u00e7\u00e3o J\u00fanior imputed positive April results to the fact it had two business days more than March, and to a gradual rebound in consumer confidence indicators. \u201cThe market as a whole kept recovering at the same pace. Sales climbed 0.5% on average per day,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date auto and light commercial vehicle sales reached 801,330 units, up 8.71% from a year ago.
