The event runs from 11 am to 1 pm, and has opened registrations on the museum&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/emaklabin.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>. Seats are limited.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lecture will address how ancient Egyptians saw themselves through historical sources, in both archeological and text documents, comparing themselves with foreigners, the peoples they maintained contact with. Then, I will compare that with the image we no have of ancient Egyptians, and the current genetic researches that have been done on that people,\u201d reported Gama in an interview to ANBA.<\/p>\n<p>The registration fee is BRL 40 (USD 10). \u201cIt will be a very affordable event for the general public and those interested in Ancient Egypt,\u201d said Gama.<\/p>\n<p>Cintia Gama is a doctor in ancient Egyptian religion at \u00c9cole Pratique des Hautes \u00c9tudes in Sorbonne, Paris, France, and was a scientific advisor in the department of Egyptian antiques of the Louvre Museum. She has also a masters in archeology from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a major in history from University of S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil, and was part of three archeological missions to Egypt.
