As per data released this Tuesday (14) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibge.gov.br\/en\/home-eng.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IBGE<\/a>), this is the first drop since the first quarter of 2017, when it saw a negative index of 1.2%. Compared to the first quarter last year, however, production grew 5.6%.<\/p>\n<p>Egg exports to Arab eggs reached USD 8.16 million in the first quarter of 2019, a 12.9% increase over the last quarter of 2018 and 7.2% year-on-year increase, as per data from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccab.org.br\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong>.
