A team of Saudi government officials has come to Brazil to promote the Ada\u00e1 Health Program. Add\u00e1 is Arabic for \u2018performance.\u2019 The program is designed to pull together and share solutions and success stories collected by the administration regarding health-related issues.<\/p>\n<p>The Saudi delegates (<em>pictured above<\/em>), who arrived in Brazil this week, had meetings with staff at public and private hospitals, like S\u00e3o Paulo\u2019s Hospital S\u00edrio Liban\u00eas and Santa Casa. According to a delegate, the group has been to public and private hospitals to see how the work is done.<\/p>\n<p>The same delegate said this trip to Brazil is intended to showcase what Saudi Arabia has been doing in terms of healthcare, as well as share experiences and find out how the industry functions in Brazil. Saudi Arabians are looking to improve performance while cutting cost. The trade show will continue until Friday (24) at Expo Center Norte.<\/p>\n<p>On the expo&#8217;s opening day, <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/council-of-ambassadors-welcomes-new-saudi-representative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Saudi ambassador<\/a>\u00a0to Brazil\u00a0Ali Abdullah Bahittam <em>(pictured, 4th from R to L)<\/em>\u00a0visited the Ministry\u2019s stand at Hospitalar. Besides the trade show and the hospitals, the Saudi delegates said they had two good meetings with Brazilian government officials.<\/p>\n<p>The delegates also took the opportunity to advertise their own healthcare industry show, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalhealthsaudi.com\/en\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Global Health Exhibition<\/a>, whose second edition is slated for September in Riyadh. Brazilians were there last year, and organizers are hoping this will be the case again this year. The Arab delegates will be in Brazil for another week.
