The event takes place in Cidade Universit\u00e1ria and is organized by the student body FEA Social of the School of Economics, Business and Accountancy of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (FEA-<a href=\"https:\/\/www5.usp.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USP<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>This will be the fair\u2019s third edition, which will feature typical food and handicrafts stands, roundtables, workshops, and performances. \u201cThey are people like us, but are far from home because of a situation they can&#8217;t control,\u201d said FEA Social event planner Camilla Martins to <em>Jornal da USP<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free and will occur from 11 am to 5 pm at the student\u2019s hall of FEA. One of the activities will be an Arabic calligraphy workshop. In addition to the typical Arab dishes, the organization says there will be roundtables where invited refugees will share their life stories and experiences in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>The fair will feature organizations such as Abra\u00e7o Cultural, which brings together refugee teachers to teach language classes. It will also feature the Refugee Reintegration Institute (ADUS), which also gives language classes, as well as cooking workshops, professional qualification courses, psychological support, and cultural activities.<\/p>\n<p>ADUS coordinator Anas Obeid was a journalist in Syria and came to Brazil in 2015. For the fair, ADUS gathered people from Senegal, Syria, Haiti, Angola, British Guiana, and Venezuela. \u201cI haven\u2019t always been a refugee. I\u2019m just a refugee right now. I\u2019m a human being, a journalist. I\u2019m part of a culture, a family.
