So, we brought their products to understand the market and see if there is demand,\u201d consul and Office head Mohamed Elkhatib told ANBA this Tuesday (11). The Egyptian stand is supported by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccab.org.br\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong>. The show runs until next Friday (14).<\/p>\n<p>Most of the products are foodstuffs. They include olives, dried tomatoes, herbs, spices and artichokes by the companies Wadi El Nil, El Badr, and Green Valley. Arab items such as tahini (sesame condiment) and halva (sesame-based sweet confection) by Alzahraa and Alfares are also exhibited. There are also dates by Egyptian Export Center and Linah farms, as well as herbs and spices by Egy Group, Retaj, and Herbs Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>Other brands at the stand are Elbaraka, with hibiscus; SFII, with olives and dried tomatoes; Mom\u2019s food, with products such as hummus (chickpea paste); Blendy, with juices; Wadi Food, with olives; Inagro Tiba, with herbs and spices; EG Gate, with herbal foods; Amman foods, with the Egyptian drink \u201csobia;\u201d and Elkomy, with tamarind.<\/p>\n<p>Besides foodstuffs, there are Eastern Company, which deals with tobacco and cigarettes, and narguile essences by Elnakhla and Taj.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brazilian brands<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While Egyptians are canvassing the Brazilian market, some Brazilian enterprises are getting ready to break into Egypt. At the trade show, coffee company Caf\u00e9 Utam told ANBA it\u2019s planning to export to Arab countries. No date has been set for the plans to be rolled out, but studies have been conducted and a presentation has been translated into Arabic.<\/p>\n<p>Also featured in the expo is A\u00e7a\u00ed Santa Helena from Par\u00e1, which is structuring itself out to reach Middle East markets.
